It was in January 2019 when I was standing in line with strangers at a WinCo waiting to check out. The stranger in line in front of me drew my attention to a beautiful championship ring on his finger. He walked with me to the parking lot and prayed for my grandson. on August 23rd, 2021, a very dark day in my life remembering this stranger from the past. I went looking for him and I found him at 1:00 o'clock in his office. On that day the Lord told him, “Do not lock the door”. I walked in and the stranger was sitting in his office waiting to leave for an appointment at 1:30 at Indio Juvenile Detention Center. His phone rings and he answers and it's the Indio Juvenile Detention Center and they canceled his appointment with them on that dark day in my life. I remained with this stranger until 4:00 o'clock PM and that stranger was Coach C. to young people and Dr. Cummings to many but Pastor Robert L. Cummings Sr. to the world. On that dark day in my life, he introduced me to Christ Jesus and shared what it means to live in peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. I was born again, and that stranger has become my Spiritual Mentor and Pastor all because of a divine intervention.
